We believe childhood is short and play is serious business. Every toy we stock is chosen to be safe, sturdy and worth the shelf space.
Our Story
Toyistrystarted the way most toy shops do — with a parent hunting for something better than the flimsy plastic on the shelf, and not finding it.
So we built the shop we wanted to buy from. Every toy is age-graded, checked for sharp edges, loose parts and non-toxic materials, and played with by real kids before it makes the catalogue.
We buy directly from makers, skip the middlemen, and pass the difference on. If a toy does not survive a fortnight of enthusiastic play, it does not belong here.

Safety First
Age grading, non-toxic materials, no loose small parts where they do not belong. Every toy is checked against EN71 and BIS safety expectations before it reaches our shelves.
Built to Be Played With
Toys get dropped, chewed, stepped on and left in the garden. We stock the ones that survive it, and we stand behind them if they do not.
Less Screen, More Play
We lean towards open-ended toys — blocks, puzzles, wooden classics — that a child returns to for years instead of abandoning in a week.
